چکیده

Acute kidney injury is among the most severe health problems today, with greatest fatality ratios. The molecule-1 (KIM-1) considered to be a potential biomarker for diagnosis of acute injury. Herein, sensitive, selective, and swift sandwich-type electrochemical KIM-1 immunosensor was fabricated based on porous NiCo2S4@CeO2 microspheres as signal amplifier covalent organic frameworks-gold nanoparticles (COFs-AuNPs) composite an sensor platform. affinity amino-gold between capture antibody COFs-AuNPs led immobilization antibody. secondary then conjugated via electrostatic interactions. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning (SEM), fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), x-ray diffraction (XRD) photoelectron (XPS) techniques were performed characterize as-prepared materials. Some characterization including cyclic voltammetry (CV), impedance (EIS) differential pulse (DPV) employed gradually constructed immunosensor. detection limit (LOD) in plasma samples calculated 2.00 fg mL?1, making it effective tool monitoring

Kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1): a novel kidney-specific injury molecule playing potential double-edged functions in kidney injury.

Kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1), a recently discovered transmembrane protein, is expressed in dedifferentiated proximal renal tubular epithelial cells in damaged regions. It may participate in the progress of renal injury or repair. Many studies have illustrated the different functions of KIM-1 in various renal diseases including protective functions in acute kidney injury and damaging functio...

KIM-1-mediated phagocytosis reduces acute injury to the kidney.

Kidney injury molecule 1 (KIM-1, also known as TIM-1) is markedly upregulated in the proximal tubule after injury and is maladaptive when chronically expressed. Here, we determined that early in the injury process, however, KIM-1 expression is antiinflammatory due to its mediation of phagocytic processes in tubule cells. Using various models of acute kidney injury (AKI) and mice expressing muta...

Kidney Injury Molecule-1 (Kim-1) expression in murine polycystic kidney disease

Kidney Injury Molecule-1 (Kim-1) is a type 1 membrane protein maximally upregulated in proliferating and de-differentiated tubular cells after renal ischemia. Since epithelial dedifferentiation, proliferation and local ischemia may play a role in the pathophysiology of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), we investigated Kim-1 expression in a mouse model of this disease. In the...

Urinary kidney injury molecule-1 (Kim-1): a sensitive quantitative biomarker for early detection of kidney tubular injury

Sensitive and specific biomarkers are needed to detect early kidney injury. The objective of the present work was to develop a sensitive quantitative urinary test to identify renal injury in the rodent to facilitate early assessment of pathophysiological influence and drug toxicity. Two mouse monoclonal antibodies were made against the purified ectodomain of kidney injury molecule-1 (Kim-1) and...
